How to get better portraits.

I recently had a lady schedule a Valentine's Day boudoir session for her husband. She wanted to be tanned for the shoot, but she used a tanning booth and ended up getting a mild sunburn on places that aren't used to getting sun. We rescheduled so the redness could go away and she got some fantastic photos, but she was in a little pain for a while.

The moral of the story is always be safe, and if you don't have time to build your tan slowly, consider a spray tan.
